I am having trouble creating a linked image in the text widget in the sidebar. I have been using
<a href=”http://www.lolafayemi.com” title=”test”><img src=“http://www.alignedandthriving.com/images/healthy_sandwich.jpg” alt=”test” /></a>
and getting no image come up and a dodgy link of http://www.alignedandthriving.com/”http://www.lolafayemi.com”.
Can anyone tell me how to get the image to show up and how to get the link going to the right place. The site is at http://www.alignedandthriving.com and it’s the right sidebar.

Gangleri – yes I am pasting from Word, does that matter? If yes where should I paste from?
Shane G – ignore me, I missed something off it does work but do you know how to make the image link to a page?
Sorted! For anyone else with the same problem use:
<a href="linkurl"><img src="imageurl" />
Thanks for your help Shane G.

(If so, it’s not working…)
Showgirl: don’t forget to add the closing link tag
<a href="linkurl"><img src="imageurl" /></a>
Yes, it is correct. The images URL should be the actual link of the image. You can use it like this:
< a href=”linkURL”><img src=”ImageURL”>
Please make sure to use all tags carefully.
And delete the space between < and a
