 * Hello helpful people. I’m trying to upload my own header to my page. It says 
   to copy and paste the url to the specific header I choose. I’ve done that and
   it still does not show up. Isn’t the url to the image displayed in the address
   bar? Can someone please walk me through it. My page is pretty boring with the
   default header.

 * For this particular question we would need a URL or the theme you are currently
   using. Because every WordPress site is different it’s difficult to answer this
   type of question.

 * Thank you for trying to help. I went on “freewebsite headers” and copied and 
   pasted the url. [http://www.freewebpageheaders.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1325](http://www.freewebpageheaders.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=1325)

 * yes, that would be wrong.
 * you have to save your chosen header to your computer, and then upload it to the
   images folder in your theme…then give that url which would look like
 * [http://yourdomain.com/directory_you_installed_in/wp-content/themes/your_theme_name/images/name_of_your_header.jpg](http://yourdomain.com/directory_you_installed_in/wp-content/themes/your_theme_name/images/name_of_your_header.jpg)

 * I did it!! I’m such a dummy. I wait too long for help. When I ask for help, I
   figure it out on my own. I went into properties and copied and pasted the address
   from there, which was different from the url in the address bar. Thank you anyway.
