 * Hi
    I am new to this. I have set up my web page and made my first post. However,
   there is nowhere for visitors to comment on my post. I am using the Kindred theme
   and I believe I have all the boxes checked off in the Discussion area to allow
   comments.

 * i don’t know how your theme works but you can check if you allow comments per
   post
