# Adding a category to a post

 * I’m trying to implement a favourite entries category/page, this is how I’m trying
   to do it:
 * Click on a link to mark entry as favourite -> link adds entry to a specfied category
 * I’m completely stumped on how to do this so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

   posts to categories, or [links](http://codex.wordpress.org/Links_Manager) to 
   a specific category or [Page](http://codex.wordpress.org/Page)?

 * I’m trying to assign a post to a specified category by using a hyperlink instead
   of the tick boxes in the WP-admin post options.
 * Hopefully that’s a clearer way of putting it.
