Can you clarify if you’re looking to add a byline to single posts or on the cubes of the blog grid? Can you provide a link to your site? Normally this is something you’d do via a child theme, but since Cubic is already a child theme of Boardwalk, the options are more limited. Let me know what you had in mind and we’ll take it from there.
Hi Kathryn,
Thank you…
Yes.
I don’t care where the BYLINES appear, so I think I want to add bylines to each post.
I want to give the different authors credit…directly. Otherwise no one out there will know who wrote what.
IDEALLY: An individual ‘admin’ or someone like me or my partner log in, add a blog post and VOILA!, their name shows up when they post it.
Now, obviously I could just type in my name at the very beginning of each post but…not too elegant of a solution.
Your creativity and suggestions and solution are much appreciated.
Ciao.

Cubic automatically displays a byline and author profile on single posts, as long as each author has something written in their profile field. You can see an example here – scroll down and you’ll see “Published by Theme Buster” – that’s the demo post’s author name & bio.

Each author can add their name and bio here when logged in under their account:
