Adding a blank page to my template

As crazy as it sounds, I’m looking for a way to create a blank page for the sake of redirecting during site construction. I’m curious how to do with with my current theme.

For everyone’s information, I already looked at two relevant WordPress articles regarding this issue and I’m still having trouble.

I created two files. One “points” to another to active the theme, but I cannot see it when I edit or create a page.

This is what I’ve done:

Created a file that is named, “template.blank.php”.

Inside, it writes:

[Code moderated as per the Forum Rules. Please use the pastebin]

Do you know why I cannot access this template page inside of Thunder?
