Addidng widget areas to blog page

    Hello Forum,

    I’m curious how to go about adding a image content slider to the top of my blog page or visa versa adding my blog posts to my widgetized home page?

    I’m using genesis with a child theme by studiopress.com

    I’m aiming for a page similar to http://www.highsnobiety.com/
