    Afternoon,

The plugin added a duplicate published page called Helpie FAQs to a footer menu without any notification or confirmation from an admin. Bit worrying it could add other things to the menu without consent.

The block stylings are also overwritten by the global style settings, even if you go in and edit the code. Any advice on either of the above?

    Thank you.

  • Hi @ghilt ,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. We do have a page called Helpie FAQ that would have our FAQ shortcode in it. But it cannot be automatically added to any menu without consent. I guess the option called “Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu” would have been enabled in the Appearance -> Menus. If so, please disable it. This has no direct relation with the plugin.

    2. Unfortunately, our FAQ block settings won’t have any effect on the front-end. We are already aware of this issue and has been added to the bug tracker already. We have other options, like using shortcodes (You can use specific attributes that would override the default settings) , Shortcode builder (for classic editor), Elementor FAQ widget, Using our FAQ Groups, etc..

Could you please use any of this until we fix it? I would make sure to let you know once that is pushed up.

Hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else I could help you with.

    Kind Regards.

Thank you for your response and helpful advice – We’ve gone with another plugin, as needed a fast simple solution.

    Thanks again,
