 * Since the wp-events plugin was updated yesterday, images added to event entries
are displaying as HTML <img> code.
 * When the image is first inserted, it displays properly in the description text
area. After saving and upon re-editng the entry, the image display is replaced
by an HTML <img src=…> statement. The same HTML code also appears in the front
end where the image should be displayed.
 * Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Is there a fix or workaround? Everything
was working just fine until the last update.

 * Try re-saving the event. Events uses the new WordPress editor now, which may
need to ‘reinterpret’ your text for it to work compared to how text was stored
   before.

 * Actually, the opposite is true. I’ve opened previously functional events and
re-saved them and the image that was displayed correctly now displays as an HTML
   <img> tag.
 * The person handling event listings on the site is tearing her hair out over this.
I really need to figure out what’s going on here.

 * I can’t reproduce the broken image tag anywhere. Seems to work fine for me.

 * I’m sorry I didn’t post the URL of the site in question sooner. You can see what
   I’m referring to here:

 * I was not the designer who created this custom template, so it’s quite possible
there’s some weird code in there that’s causing this annoying effect.

 * Hello,
 * I have the same problem as described before. It occurs after editing an event
for the first time. Text and the image can be entered quite normal as for Pages.
But after saving, the editor text area contains HTML code <img> when there was
   an image included.
 * As this behaviour cannot be inspected on the front-end, I have made a screenshot
   of the Edit Event here:
