[Resolved] Added a Next gen gallery just below my menu but drop down falls behind it.

  • I have added a Next gen gallery slideshow just below my menu but drop down falls behind it. Is there a way to send the slideshow into the background, or bring the menu in front of it?

    Any help would be great!

    Theme: PrimePress 1.4.1

  • Add the following parameter to the OBJECT tag: <param name=”wmode” value=”transparent”>
Add the following parameter to the EMBED tag: wmode=”transparent”

I have found this as a solution I have added the embed tag does anyone know where my object tag would go? Or is there a better solution?

Found a fix,you have to add a z-index to the menu and set it to 2 and then edit the next gen plugin (ngg.css) and edit the slideshow section add z-index and set it to 1. It works in Chrome and Firefox but not in IE.

Fixed in IE aswell now, just incase someone else has this problem. you have to go back up through the containers add the various z-index amounts.
