Order notes is deliberately part of checkout. If you want product-level data collected, just a plugin such as ‘product addons’.

Can it be done by writing and adding filters / actions into the cart.php File?
I want to add the order_notes field to the cart page and I am writing some php and understand some wordpress coding.

Is it possible to add the Woocommerce order notes field before the checkout form page? I would like to add it to the cart.php page and single-product.php if that’s possible. It would be great if the content entered would be displayed in the checkout form so that the customer can update it if necessary.
