• I would like to add vcf files to the allowed file types to be able to show links to vcf files on employee presentation pages

I can’t find where to change the list of allowed file types in WP single site

In WP multisite there is a whitelist in network admin -> Settings -> Network settings (Upload file types), but adding vcf to this list doesn’t seem to change anything.

I am using W3TC cache plugin

So I really have 2 questions:

IF (WP multisite): Why doesn’t my blogs react to adding vcf to the Upload file types list?

IF NOT(WP multisite): Do I really have to activate multisite on a single blog to get access to changing the Upload file list?

  • Hi Karl,

I am having the same issue (on WP Multisite). Did you find a solution to this?

    Thank you,

    Hi

No I didn’t get a solution – I didn’t even get any answers as you can se

I did a workaround of the problem by uploading the vcf files with ftp outside of WordPress. That works for me because it’s only 5 – 10 vcf files and only very few changes. This would not work if you are dealing with hundreds of vcf files and many changes every day
