I was searching for an option to give users the option to edit/delete their comments. But I couldn’t find it. I also couldn’t find a way to do it using some custom code.
I did see that there are php code snippets to add remove/edit links to comments, but only for admins. What I would like is for users to be able to remove/edit their own comments.
It’s possible that removing a comment can be a problem if there are nested comments under it. Don’t know how that is handled currently. But it would be good enough if instead it would be edited to something like “[DELETED]”.
Would this be something I could do with custom code, or would it need to be supported by wordpress core.
