    Hi there

I’d like to be able to add user fields to the email that’s being sent in ‘Notify Users about this Post’

For example, I could start the email with Hello %USER_FIRSTNAME% or add This email was sent to %USER_EMAIL%

I particularly want these but also essential is %USER_ID% and %USER_ROLE%

Hope you can help. Fab plugin

User specific keyword replacements aren’t supported so it isn’t possible to do what you are asking.

The reason they aren’t supported is because Email Users tries to send an email to as many recipients as possible in one shot to minimize the number of actual email messages sent. If Email Users sends a single email to 500 recipients, then there is no logical keyword replacement on a per user basis which makes any sense.

Email Users does support a mode where when setting the BCC Limit to 1 AND telling it to use the TO field, it will send the email to one user at a time with their address in the TO field. That is currently the closest thing there is to sending a unique email to each user.

This question comes up periodically in the Support Forum and at this time, there are no plans to enhance Email Users with per user keywords.
