 * Is there anyway to automatically add the date the post is updated and republished
   to the beginning of the text. For example, updated August 25, 2016

 * You would need to modify your theme to display the publish date and update date.
   Those are part of WordPress core and not specific to this plugin so the steps
   are going to vary slightly by theme.
