    How can I add a search icon in the menu (like a magnifying glass)? Do I need to install anything else?

    The plugin is not responsible for the appearance of the search button and other elements related to the front-end. Its task is to modify the search engine on the back-end. I encourage you to read the plugin FAQ and its description.
