Do you recall what you did before the button started reading Registerinstead of Add to Cart?
You could start from there and undo that action. Thus, if you added some code to your functions.php, you can comment it out and if you used a plugin to change the text, you can deactivate it.
If the cause is not so obvious, I would suggest doing a full conflict test to see if you can find the culprit – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
