• Hi all

I am hoping that someone maybe able to help me out I little. I need to change the functionality of the add to cart button in my woocommerce store.

Essentially for some of the products (not all of them) I need to change the ‘Add to Cart’ button to direct the user/client to a price list and/or contact page. Pricing varies for some of my products based on quantity and as these are hand made I need to be able to confirm with the client before they place an order I am available to complete it. I have found some detail about changing the text in the button, and while I need to do this, I also need to be able to direct them to a page other than the shopping cart for certain products only – these products cold be arranged in one category.
    Thanks in advance
    Keith

  • Have a look at this plugin:
    http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-request-a-quote/6460218

The specification says: “Easy to show/hide Add to Quote or Add to Cart buttons at category/individual product level.”

Basically there will be both an add-to-cart button and an add-to-quote button, and these can be set/unset at product or category level.

Ensure it will do what you want before purchase. I would expect the author will answer any questions.

Thank you Lorro for the link. I had seen the plugin and considered it, however I am trying to minimise the number of plugins.

I am sure it is a relatively easy fix what I need, but my lack of programming skills is my hinderance. I can add to the functions.php file with ease and I am thinking this is what I will need to do.
