Hi there,
Have you disabled the Redirect to Cart page option in WooCommerce > Settings > Products > General tab? Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/b8ceq9
I’m not sure if this option still works for an Elementor page, but it works on WooCommerce archives and the product shortcode.
Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunatly it’s not the solution.
As I said I have the add to cart on the shop page and by default when i add to cart it brings me to the product page.
So when I disable to redirect to cart page like you mention, it brings me to the product page.
The website is to sell fruits and vegetables. I really don’t need any product page to describe strawberries and potatoes 😉
I just want the add to cart button to do nothing else than add to cart…and stay on the shop page.
I don’t know if the solution would be to suppress the product pages and keep only the products. Or if the solution would be to add some code in the CSS template ou elsewhere. Or maybe something else I don’t know.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I’d recommend contacting your theme developer then, as you certainly can do this without any custom code. I see you mentioned using Elementor, so it may be their custom page layout template that is doing this if it’s not your theme.
Here’s an example of doing this using the default Storefront theme:

You’ll notice I can click through adding multiple products to my cart, without ever leaving the base shop page.
Hi Phil,
And thank you for taking time for this 🙂
I installed Storefront to test.
I still have the same problem : adding to basket brings me directly to the product page.
So, as you say, it may be Elementor causing this.
Storefront doesn’t seem to be compatible with elementor custom skin I used for the loop because I can’t modify my product loop unnder storefront…
I try to contact elementor pro support, see what they say.
Hi there,
Thank you for testing this out with Storefront. If Elementor isn’t the cause of the issue, a conflict test will help you identify the culprit. Here’s the instruction on how to test for a conflict: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
Hi,
just to say I found the solution with the plugin WPC Ajax Add to Cart for WooCommerce.
It’s free.
Have a nice day!
Thanks a lot, @geoffmanonlfo, WPC Ajax Add to Cart for WooCommerce completely solved my problem as well 🙂
Best wishes,
