  • Right now, when someone comments I see “Name, Month Day, Year” before their comment. I just want to add “at Hour:Minute am/pm” after that. Is that hard to do?

    Thanks!

  • This most likely is theme dependent…consult your theme dev.’s and/or see:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time

    I’ve done both… I can no longer contact the dev, and I’ve spend hours scouring my HTML for the code provided on your link that I just can’t find. Thanks for the link though…

    I think it may be theme dependent in which case I may be out of luck.

    If you provide a site link, it may be possible that someone is familiar with this issue…it would be a minor modification to a theme function…that said, you should use a currently fully supported theme.

    look into comments.php of your theme; see if you can find ‘wp_list_comments()’ with some parameters in the bracket;

    if one of the parameters is ‘callback=????’ look for this name as a function in functions.php of your theme, and try to locate the output of the comments date there.

    if your comments.php does not contain ‘wp_list_commnets()’ it might directly contain the output code for the comments and the comment date…

    more suggestions, when you posted a link to your site – or you can start by pasting the code of comments.php into a http://pastebin.com/ and post the link to it here.
