Hi @collimarco,
Inter is a Google font so you should be able to load that font in the Typography module of GP.
You can also host that locally: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-local-fonts/
@fernandoazarcon2 It would be nice to be able to choose the Inter font directly in the Typography section, without having to perform all those steps. Moreover that is useful if you have many blogs.
Consider that Inter is a widespread and trending font used by Tailwind, not a minor one.
Could you consider adding it to the list of fonts?
Well, as long as it’s a Google font, it should work if you type it manually and enable the Google fonts API trigger.
Alternatively, you can use a hook to make it appear. Example: https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/remove-google-fonts-2/page/2/#post-2286572
it should work if you type it manually and enable the Google fonts API trigger.
Can you please explain the steps? When I type “Inter” in the font search (in Typography section) it doesn’t appear.
Hi there,
see here:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/dynamic-typography-overview/
In the Font Manager -> Font Family field. Type Inter
and then check the Google Font API toggle.
Now in the Typography Manger you can choose the Inter font.
In the Typography section there isn’t any Font Manager section… There is only “body” and titles. And when I search Inter for “body” for example I get “No results found”.
