Hello.

You might think that I am reopening the question from here – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/hide-part-of-content-from-amp-page/. But i’m here on a different question.

Is it possible to add content hiding functionality directly to the WordPress code editor in AMP Plugin?
Or at least add the shortcode functionality as standard to the AMP plugin?

Thank you for the suggestion, I will forward it to the developers, let’s hope it will be considered in an upcoming version.

We already have a GitHub issue open for suppressing block/markup on AMP pages.

for now, you can use the plugin mentioned in that support topic.

I am not sure that this functionality is appropriate for the AMP plugin itself, as I don’t think it would be used by 80% of users. It would be better to use an additional plugin (as above) to add the functionality as needed.
