Add text to 2014 header that stays on mobile

I am having trouble with the header on my 2014 site. I am able to create an image at the top which will stay there whether on desktop or mobile. But if I try to add any text with the logo, it doesn’t stick around on mobile. You can see the screenshot with a yellow box where I want BOTH a logo and text underneath it. And I want it to still show up when on mobile. As I said, the image stays, but I can’t get text under it.
