Add subscriber to preference list automatically upon subscription?

Hello Newsletter Team,

is it possible to build subscription forms which will automatically add a subscriber to a certain preference (“sub-list”)?

For example, users arriving on a landing page for “milk bottles” will receive mailings upon milk bottles. On a different landing page, users are more interested in “organic food”, and will receive mailings around organic food.

I have read I can use radio buttons and drop down lists in subscription forms, but can I force users to certain preferences upon subscription, without giving them the choice?

I have searched documentation but could not find anything – yet.
