add second author to post (leaf theme)

Hello everyone!

I hope the topic doesn’t exist yet, at least i couldn’t find it.
I want to add a second author to a post and want them both to appear under the post.

so i’m using the co-author-plus plugin and i’m now able to add more authors but there’s only one showing under the post at “posted by”…

I tried
.posted-by {(
if ( function_exists(‘coauthors_posts_links’ ) ) {
echo coauthors_posts_links();
} else {
echo the_author_posts_link();
}
}

but it wouldn’t work. Can anyone help please?
