Products can only have 1 parent. I’m not sure 100% why or what you’re doing but you could look at bundles or composite products if they are more advanced combinations.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

The Idea is to have group product such as:

    Membership1 + setup

where “setup” is one product than can be included to other group products.

    i.e.:
    Membership1 + setup
    Membership2 + Setup
    Membership3 + setup

ATM i have to create 3 different “setups” with the same price and settings to make this happen

I, too, am looking for a solution for this problem. I am setting up a furniture shopping site and am looking to have furniture sets as group products then have the individual pieces (single products) linked to the set (group). The problem is that some recliners can be listed with more than one set or group. I am looking to link them to more than one grouped product.

Thanks in advance for the help!

yeah – this is really strange that a product can be part of one group!

    Have you got any solution?

We may dump the post_parent use in the future to support this, but its not possible right now.

That said, cross/up sells can be used if you want to list related items on a single page.

vote for having one product in multiple groups!
