Support » Plugin: WooCommerce Fixed Quantity » Add product to cart twice (or more), Qty not updated

At the settings page there is an option:

Add to Cart as New Item: When adding product to cart twice or more, add it as new instead of updating Qty

But, when this option has been disabled and I try to add a product twice or more, I get this warning:
“Product xxxxxx can be ordered using this listed quantity : 2. You have added 2 qty in your cart.”

I have to questions about this:
    1. Is there an option to update the quantity with the amount I set as qty (for example, qty is 2, adding it 3 times to the cart would make a total of 6).

    2. Is there a way to add a free (extra) quantity field, before the select box at the product page? The customer does not need to click on add to cart three times this way, but the customer types 3 and then clicks add to cart.

    Thank you in advance!

if checked that option, you will get two or more item inserted to cart instead of append the quantity. Please try on/off the option and add the same item twice and more, and see the difference behavior

Yes, I noticed. But ‘instead of append the quantity’ is the behavior I need, increasing the quantity with 2/4/6 or whatever has been set for the specific product.

    No

Ok. I will try to program it myself, I think it is possible 🙂

Thanks for your answer and have a good day.

jinyoki, would you mind sharing where exactly this setting is?
