Please check at wp-admin -> WooCommerce -> Status -> Logs -> fatal_erros log -> is any error generated?
Also, check the Google Chrome Browser console, is there any JavaScript error happening to the site or not! (What is browser console – https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/232313848-How-to-open-the-developer-console)

Please modify your PHP config.
Increase maximum execution time to 300 seconds.

Thanks for your reply I assume this is done in the php.ini section but i still have the same issue. The pop up add product icon worked when i first installed but im sure why im having this issue now. Im also not sure what to do next to reach a resolution
Have you restart your server after change in pho ini ?
Also check maximum execution value from WooCommerce stats.

after a few days of testing Ive come to realize that the problem comes from my theme. When I switch the theme everything works fine. Do you have any pointers for me so I can resolve this issue? And have your plugin work right for my theme?
Have you contacted your theme support for this?
Between, which theme are you using for the site?
