Hi everyone, I'm creating a product management portal for my interior design company. What I am trying to do is to give my employees the option to associate a existing blog posting to an existing category without having to go into the wp-admin console.
In this situation, the Product is the blog posting, and the category is the Project Name.
My website is located at: http://projectdesigner.designinside.us Once you visit the site, you will see that I have created a combo box that lists all of the categories. Ideally I would like the user to be able to:
- Select the project category, and click on the Add button
- Have the Add button become disabled until the page is refreshed, or have some message box display a "Product has been added" message
- Only display the project category combo box and button to logged in users that have Editors or higher rights
I'm fairly new to WordPress, so any help is appreciated.
