Support » Plugin: Quiz Cat - WordPress Quiz Plugin » Add padding to questions

  • This plugin is great. Thank you for the excellent work. I have a question that should be an easy answer. Upon viewing the page in which the quiz is located, the intro looks great. When I click on the “Start the Quiz” button, the 1st question and those after it go up under the menu. The user cannot see the questions after they click to start the quiz. I have tried to add padding to the row in which I have placed the short code but this only affects the intro where the “Start the Quiz” button is on. Once the quiz begins, the padding is gone and the questions are up under the menu and page header.

How can I fix this so that the questions are visible?

    Thanks in advance,

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello there,

Thanks for reaching out with this issue. This is a problem we have recently become aware of for people with larger headers that float.

What we are trying to do is re-center the quiz on screen between each question. For users with really long questions/answers, or many answers, users will be scrolling down a lot to answer. We want to scroll back up for them automatically, or else the quiz becomes really awkward.

We are still discussing possible fixes for this. It seems like it will be hard to find a one size fits all solution for this issue.

Right now, I would suggest making part of your header smaller, or making it not float (perhaps just on paes with quizzes if you can).

If neither of those solutions work, I can ask my dev which function to remove to prevent this behavior, and you’ll be able to make the change.

Let me know what you prefer, and I’ll see if we can help further.
