Support » Plugin: Social Stickers » Add padding or margin to stickers

  • Resolved Anik8

    Hi BoĊĦtjan,

Thanks so much for this plugin!
Works as described. I’d only like to know if I can add some space between the stickers, ie., add padding to each sticker, for equidistant spacing.
It seems that the stickers are not wrapped in any CSS, so I can’t apply the margin option.
Is there anyway I could do this? Either be able to put each sticker within a CSS container, or jus find a way to add spacing in the code itself?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Figured out a way myself!

For anyone who’d want to know in the future,

    I edited the plugin (social-stickers.php):
    1. Search for

    function social_stickers_general_html_show($options)

(It’s in the output and sticker presentation section of the code. Towards the end)
    2. Now, depending on the sticker size you have chosen, you have to edit the appropriate area. Mine was 32 x 32, so it was the second $output tag. (I just added TEST1/TEST2/etc within every ‘href’ tag, and figured it out).
    3. Now i just edited the tag and added the CSS using the style attribute

    a style=”padding: 8px;”….

Definitely not the most elegant way I’m sure, but it worked.
I’m not an expert, but just trying to explain how I got there. Not sure if I’m succesfull though

Hope the dev is okay with me putting this up! You are welcome to fix or simplify anything here.

I’m ok with it sure, I couldn’t reply sooner, sorry.

But you can customly define your output by doing the following; switch to advanced view, click on the advanced tab and there you’ll find a custom HTML output textarea with instructions.
