Support » Fixing WordPress » add open graph to individual pages

  • There has got to be a way to do this…I literally just want to add the meta property tags into each page so it’s appropriately different for each campaign:

    <!– FaceBook og tags –>
    <meta property=”og:title” content=”XXX”/>
    <meta property=”og:image” content=”XXX”/>
    <meta property=”og:site_name” content=”XXX”/>
    <meta property=”og:url” content=”XXX”/>
    <meta property=”XXX>

    How on earth can I do this for each individual page / post? And I don’t want to use YOAST (a client is giving me these specific tags this exact way). I want to add this text like you would on hubspot or any platform where I can edit the code for each page. Please help.

  • If you don’t want to use Yoast and you need specific meta tags in different locations then I suppose one option is to create multiple headers and load them appropriately. That would probably be the down and dirty way to do this. The Yoast tool will do exactly what you want and why you are so adamant against using it is beyond me.

    You may want to read through this article here:

    If it is just the Yoast plugin you want to avoid and you are not against using a plugin to accomplish this, you may want to look at this one:

    Hello Bob.

    It’s very kind of you to recommend my plugin. However, judging by the fact that the original poster seems to be having a hard time even searching and finding a plugin with the required functionality in the plugin repository, I tend to believe that he is going to need support.

    In case you have missed the announcement, I do not provide support to users any more, so, in my humble opinion, recommending my plugin to users who will likely need support makes very little sense, as they are going to be very disappointed as soon as they find out that by using my plugin they are on their own.

    There are many excellent plugins out there, including the one the original poster has excluded, which are supported either freely or commercially by their developers. I’d like to kindly ask you to recommend other plugins to users in similar cases in the future.

    Thank you in advance for your understanding. I greatly appreciate it!
