# Add-Ons Server Issue?

 * I use SlimStat with the Export to Excel add-on. Today the basic SlimStat seems
   to be working fine, but clicking the Export to Excel button isn’t delivering 
   a file. Perhaps coincidentally, /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-slim-addons is returning“
   There was an error retrieving the add-ons list from the server. Please try again
   later. Error Message: connect() timed out!”
 * Is there something going on with the add-on server or is this an issue with my
   installation?

 * Hi,
 * our add-on repository is working as usual, for what we can see. Just to clarify,
   the functionality is not linked to our server availability in any way. So it 
   must be something else. Are you sure you’re using the latest version of the add-
   on?

 * I do not. That’s why I went to the add-ons page, to check that my license key
   was entered correctly. But since I can’t load the add-ons page, I’m not sure 
   how to update the add-on. Any advice?
