Add New User extra fields

    I want to manage the user creation myself. I want to add additional fields from the back-end.

    Sorry for digging up an old skeleton in WP’s closet but has there been any success? I have not been able to find a plug-in to do what I want. So I might have to resort to hand coding.

    Any leads on this would be great.
