# Add New Plugin Timeout

 * The problem I am experiencing is when I query for plugins on my wordpress installation…
   depending on whether the query is specific or vague I will get this message: “
   An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with WordPress.org or this
   server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support
   forums.”
 * If I search for say s2member I have no problems with the “Install Plugins” menu,
   and it will display a page of plugins associated with s2member… however if I 
   search for smtp… it will display the above message, but if I search for “configure
   smtp” it will display the appropriate plugin.. this occurs for all such querys
   not just “smtp”
 * The site is running on a godaddy virtual dedicated server on an XAMPP installation.(
   I have been using this server as a development environment… so this is not a 
   pressing issue for me)
 * I should also note that I can download any plugin to my personal computer and
   then upload it to the server without any problems… I just find it annoying that
   the search querys appear to be overloading or timing out.
 * Also… I have already modified the timeout settings from 5 to 30 in the wp-includes
   => class-http.php file
 * My guess is that a change needs to be made to the php.ini file, but I am not 
   sure as to what change.
