# Add New Plugin button is missing

 * Despite my best efforts I have been unable to enable the “Add New” plug-in button.
 * At first I thought it was because I wasn’t a Super Administrator. So I went through
   all the steps to create a Network Install and make sure I am set as a Super Administrator.
   That is all working now. Now, it turns out that even in my Network Administrator
   panel, I still don’t have the “Add New” plugin. I used the following URL to test:
 * [http://<site>/wp-admin/plugin-install.php](http://<site>/wp-admin/plugin-install.php)
   (
   where site is my host)
 * When I do this, I get a message about having “insufficient permissions”. I am
   convinced there is some setting that I should be enabling in wp-config.php but
   I cannot find any help on this.

 * First, let me say thank you. I appreciate the time you took to read and reply
   to my question.
 * Yes, this is a self-hosted installation. I installed WP on Centos 6 with the 
   RPM from EPEL.
 * In this particular case, <site> is an IP address for a sandbox environment but
   I have the same problem on my other installations where <site> is something like“
   www.mydomain.com”.
