# Add New Page Problems

 * I am trying to add an “About” page to my blog. Everytime I do, it gives me a 
   404 not found for that page when I try to view it. Does anyone have any ideas?
   I have permalinks set up in my .htaccess file. My browser is IE 6.0, my operating
   system is Windows XP, I am using FileZilla as my FTP. I would really appreciate
   any info I can get!

 * One possible problem is you have a trailing `/` for your blog uri.
    Go to admin-
   > options -> general and remove the trailing `/` from your 2 uri’s – then update
   your permalinks.

 * I don’t see a trailing “/” when I go to Admin -> Options -> General. It stops
   after the .com. But when I go to my site, I do see the trailing “/”. Any other
   ideas??

 * Any dns redirections going on? Forwarding of any sort?

 * I can see the About Page just fine (with a smiling picture 🙂
 * So, what’s the problem? If you don’t see it, try Ctrl+F5.

 * I just clicked on it and found it too. It wasn’t there 15 minutes ago. ?? I have
   no idea because I didn’t change anything. I guess if it isn’t broken I won’t 
   try to fix it. Thanks for checking and your help! : )
