    Hi,
I can't believe I haven't been able to find anything about how to do this.

I just want to figure out how (settings or plugins) to add new images to my image galleries so that the new images appear at the top of the gallery instead of at the bottom.

(I'd also settle for figuring out a way to select multiple images in a gallery so that I can drag and drop all of them to a new position at once.) Someone please tell me I'm crazy and that either of these things is actually really easy to do.

    Thanks!!

Are you using a gallery plugin? If not, you might want to consider installing one.

    Thanks Esmi
I assumed that this fix would probably need a plugin, as I mentioned. But I haven't been able to find any specific information on plugins or settings that do either of the things I'm looking for.

Anyone have suggestions for specific plugins that might be able to do what I'm trying to do?
    Thanks!

Anyone out there use or know of a specific plugin that allows for this to happen in the media uploader?
    Thanks!

I'm looking for the same thing - I'm just using the built-in WP gallery and want the new images inserted at the top of the page instead of the bottom. Has anyone figured this out?

    Hey CobaltCat-
I still have not found a plugin to help do this. I have found though, that if I zoom out the screen (command + "-" on a mac) far enough, I can get most or all of the long list of photos I want to rearrange to show up on the screen at once. Then I can drag and drop the tiny thumbnails in the order I need them.

It's still a much longer process then it should be but it's a work around for the moment.

I'd be grateful if anyone has suggestions on plugins that can just simply add the photos to the top of the library list.
