Currently the Car Demon query doesn’t allow filters, which means we can’t add new fields to the search. However, filtering the query is something we’d like to add in the near future. If you’re interested in helping us test this new feature then swing by our site and fill out the contact form on the About page and reference this thread.
As for the transmission field, have you added a transmission value to any of the vehicles? If I recall that field will show up blank if no unsold vehicles have a value in the field.

Yes I have added Transmission value to the vehicles but nothing is showing up there. I have checked in the database, transmission saving value in the key named “decoded_transmission” and while in the php code it is looking for the “_transmission_value”. I think due to this it doesn’t showing up the transmission value.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Sunil,
I was able to recreate the problem you’re having with the transmission field. I will try to have this patched in the next day or two.
When I get it resolved I’ll explain the issue with some details for anyone who is interested.
I’ll also get started on adding the filters for the Query so you’ll be able to modify the search form and the results.
When I have these changes made I’ll ask you to download a development version of the PlugIn so you can test it out. If the issue is resolved then we can publish the changes for everyone.

I believe the issue with the transmission field has been resolved in the development version, which you can download from here;

We’ve also added a couple of the filters you’ll need to modify the search query – car_demon_query_filter. We’ll be adding the filters to the search form in the next couple days.
Have you worked with filters before? We hope to have a tutorial added to our site on this next week, so if you haven’t they should point you in the right direction.

Did you download the development copy from:

The latest public release (1.4.0) does not have the fix for this.
You’ll need the development version (1.4.1) – as soon as it’s been tested we’ll release it, possibly later today.
