First sure, I will get on this the next time I work on the plugin. In the meantime, you can use data-no-minify=”1″ attribute to do the same as the code does for any script tag.

For the second issue, sounds like a rare case of the cache being broken. Its such an edge case that it’s generally not practical to reproduce. The cache is effectively a sort of tree structure, where an entry contains a list of other transient entries. This is because wp doesn’t have the ability to list items in its cache API, only set or fetch known items. That decision was made to avoid going outside the WP API and use Memcached or Redis directly. What I would do is use my dedicated transient plugin if object cache in WPE is not in use, then you can nuke everything easily. If not purge the object cache.

    Hope this helps 🙂

We would prefer not to add “data-no-minify=”1″ for everyone since it is specific to WP Rocket Footer JS.

Note that the proper exclusions are already part of WP-Rocket code and Shareaholic also hooks into it. It would be great if this plugin would respect those exclusions too —

    Thank you!

I understand. I only stated that as a short term solution.

🙂 we’ve set data-no-minify=”1″ for a few sites manually, but the issue is that we can’t release a new version of our plugin until WP Rocket Footer JS is updated as we’d end up overwriting the manual change.
