    I was wondering if anybody has an ideas how I can add the MSLS to the top right corner of my header?

    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

  • With
    <?php if (function_exists (‘the_msls’)) the_msls (); ?>
    I could place the menu in the header but how to place it in the top right on the same height as the main menu? And how to insert some space between the languages?

    Any chance that MslsMenu could be helpful here?

    Thank you for trying to help me.

    But I am not sure if I do not see the hint in your answer or if you do not understand my problem which I might not have specified sufficiently.

    Indeed I do use the MSLS Menu which I added with the following code to the header.php:

    <?php if (function_exists (‘the_msls’)) the_msls (); ?>

    The problem is that the Menu is placed somewhere and destroy the design. I would love to know how to place it in the upper right corner on the same height as the main menu.

    Or did you tell me I should set the position of my MSLS Menu via Settings > Mutlisite Language Switcher > Theme Location rather than modifying my header.php file. If yes, I do not have the function Theme Location.

    Kind regards,

    Sorry, I did indeed oversee that you already use MslsMenu. You’ll find a before_element and after_element in the plugin’s configuration in the part especially for MslsMenu. For my website: https://lloc.de/ I use similar settings to the screenshot here: https://ps.w.org/mslsmenu/assets/screenshot-3.png (using an additional CSS-class <li class="menu-item">).

    I hope this was more helpful,
    Dennis

    Thank you it is getting better.

    Now my language menu is right of my main menu.

    But is there any option to have it placed on the right end of my header separated from my main menu?

    Kind regards

    I’m not sure because I don’t know that theme good enough. You could use the widget if there is any area right from the menu where you could place it.
