• I have been re-building a site for a friend. He already has so many pdf file links on his old site. I am placing the links on the new site and am tired of adding one link at a time to the page. Is there a way to add like 20-30 links to files already uploaded into the media manager onto a page with one action. I just want them to be standard href links that open in new tabs or windows. I think the add media button is supposed to work for this, but maybe not. Honestly because of the lack of organization and the multitude of files, I can’t find them all at once anyway when I use this method.

Well I found my own answer, You can use the “Add Media” button on the page builder. But it is still annoying that it just dumps all the media into one window to view, makes it hard to find things. Also by default it does not give you the option to open with the target=”_blank” option to open in new tabs (windows) so I still have to go back and add that to each link. Oh well. If anyone has an easier solution, let me know please.

I myself have not tested this plugin but please have a look at it. Probably it helps you. Add From Server

That seems to be good for adding files into the media library that are already on your hosting server, but it does not add them to the page. Thanks though.
