Add message to the custom login/register page

Hello,

I would like add a message to my login/register page. I have tried this:

function custom_login_message() {
$message = “INSERT CUSTOM MESSAGE HERE”;
return $message;
}
add_filter(‘login_message’, ‘custom_login_message’);

but this does not put the message on my custom login page, only the standard wordpress dashboard login page (like you see when you visit wp-admin)

I want to add it to both of these web pages:

https://www.hempfarm.co.nz/my-account/
http://wholesalehemp.co.nz/my-account/

Any ideas?

p.s. I would also like the custom message to contain a hyperlink if possible
