  • Is it possible to add a menu heading?

I have lots of menu items, and I’m currently arranging them with separators. What I’d like ideally is a heading so I can better group and visualise different menu items.

Please tell me this is possible?

    Chris.

It’s not possible to create real menu headings with this plugin, but, depending on your needs, you might be able to get close enough by using custom menu items.

For example, you could create a new menu item and set the “Target page” to “None”. This way the menu item won’t do anything if the user tries to click it. You could then change the icon to something neutral like dashicons-minus and make the text bold by adding <b>...</b> tags to the menu title. If you’re familiar with CSS, you could put the title in a <span> and change it’s appearance with inline styles.

In the Pro version, you can also change the text color and background color to make it look different from regular menu items.
