roll back your site or roll back WP Statistics to version 12.0.12.1.
I used Easy Theme & Plugin Upgrades to help me roll WP Statistics back to earlier version. Link here to download: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ or search WP Plugins from dashboard and install it there. Make sure you activate it.
Then download earlier versions of plugin from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-statistics/advanced/ you will see option at bottom of page (most plugins have this available) select the version before than last update and try it out! When downloaded goto your WP dashboard and select ‘Plugins” menu then select add new. Select the file that you downloaded and then submit. This should work. it did for me!

Thank you that resolved the issue for now. I rolled back wp-statistics to the earlier version.
