"Add media file from URL" is no longer working

I just upgraded from 3.1.4 to 3.2.1 and immediately noticed that when using “Add media file from URL” to insert an image, it no longer works. On 3.1.4 the red asterisks on the left of the “image URL” and “image Title” fields used to turn to a green check mark the instant it senses the links entered and title were valid. Now it no longer does that and even if I click “Insert into Post” it does nothing. I have this problem with all my installations, all with varying numbers of different plugins. Anyone else having this problem?
