Hi, thanks for posting.
Please, try checking for a working baseline by temporarily deactivating all non-SiteOrigin plugins. If you’re using the Classic Editor plugin, you can leave that activated in the test. Let us know how that goes 🙂
I can’t turn off all plugins as these are live sites. But I HAVE found a clue. If you put in a title and hit save, only then does the media button appear. This is a problem as we don’t always want a title showing in the widget. And this widget doesn’t have a ‘hide title’ option.
Thanks for the update. We, unfortunately, don’t have any further idea about what might be causing this issue. Our recommendation would be to use a maintenance mode plugin, activate it. Then run the plugin conflict test to search for a working baseline. This is the quickest way to rule out a plugin conflict and see if a working baseline can be found.
The only way I could get the Add Media button to return was to replace the SiteOrigin Editor widget with a regular WP text widget.
