• Running 3.5.1, Twenty Eleven. The ONLY plugin I use is Jetpack by WordPress. When I’m in Media Library, I can add media, but cannot “attach” them to a page. When I’m on a page, I cannot “Add Media”. The pop-up opens, but it is blank – no button to use already uploaded media or to upload new media.

    Help please!

Media no longer works and I have nothing special on my website. Please help!! Anyone?

Try turning off Jetpack. If that doesn’t work reinstall wp-admin and wp-includes following these instructions, http://codex.wordpress.org/Updating_WordPress#Manual_Update

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, neither suggestion worked. I don’t understand what is wrong with my site. I did not have this issue on the previous version of WordPress. I contacted my host provider and their suggestion was the same as yours – to no avail. When is WordPress slated for it’s next release? I think that is my only hope 🙁

It’s Internet Explorer 10!!!! WordPress Media 3.5.1 functionality does NOT work with Internet Explorer 10! Please fix this, WordPress!

WordPress works fine with IE 10. Please post a link to your site.

My site runs fine on IE10. What doesn’t work is the WordPress admin console and the Media functionality as described in my initial post. I cannot use the Media functionality on my computer with IE10, but I can from IE9.

What happens with a different browser?

WorkPress admin console media features work as expected/as designed with IE9. They do not work with IE10.

I am having exactly the same problem. Also my navigation bars are locked. All happened after I installed the latest update from wordpress

WordPress admin dashboard works fine with IE10. Since it does not for you we need to try to find out what is going on. Anything not working on the back-end is usually a javascript error of some sort.

Try opening your site and go to the dashboard. Since you are using IE10, press F12. That will open the developer tools. Click on script and then debug. Any javascript errors?

Hi – sorry for the delayed reply. No javascript errors.

I am having this issue and I AM seeing Javascript errors in the inspector:

    GET http://wwwstage.tabbedout.com/wp-content/plugins/tabbed/js/ajax.js?ver=3.5.1 404 (Not Found) post-new.php:38
Uncaught TypeError: Object function (a){return new m(a)} has no method 'omit'

The second one seems to be related to the actual button action- it appears to be in:
    media-views-min.js

Any help getting this sorted out would be grand- thanks!
