    Hello I am using the lite edition from this plugin and have some question.
    First of all I wanne explain what wanne do. I wanne show people who our part of our city was 50 years ago, I wanne do this with pictures.

    Now I starting with adding placemarks and use as media add gallery The media files are .jpg and set as thumbnail.
    But when I vitit the marker no images (thumbnails) where showed, only text.

    My questions:

    1. What do I wrong?
    2. what happens when it works correct when people click on the thumbnail. I hope the Original photo opens in a new pop up.
    3. Is it possible to make the thumbs smaller?

    Hi Robert,

    thanks for your interest in my plugin!

    Shortcodes in popuptexts are only supported on marker maps as a feature of the pro version; parsing of shortcodes in layer maps is not possible due to technical limiations though.

    I`d suggest you start a free 30 day pro trial to verify if the way this feature works is suitable for you…

    Hi Robert,

    I think this was excact what I mean.
    But sorry for me, I am allways so sad to read that you had to pay for full versions. Ofcourse I respect that there are two versions (lite and full) but remember there are allways people who built pages for free and hobby. My page is not a commercial page and I could understand that people who have commercial pages had to pay for it because they had to earn money with there pages, I am not.

    For me this means I had to search for something else, but understand I respect your plugin and your work because it is fantastic.

    Hi Robert,
    sorry to hear that you are looking for an alternative. As I have invested hundreds of hours into building both plugins over the last 3 years, I can’t afford offering everything for free (anymore) – this is why I choose a freemium model with a fully functional free version and a pro version with enhanced features (see mapsmarker.com/comparison). Pricing starts from 15€ which is very customer friendly in my opinion.
    Anyway I understand that this does not seem to an option for you at the moment. there are lots of other mapping plugins out there and I hope you will find one which fits your needs and is available for free.

    Thanks Robert for your answer.
    It is not your plugin, thats verry good and understand that people had to pay for it because of your hard work. I should do the same in some cases.

    I install again the lite version and make some test how I still could use this wonderfull plugin.
    Instead of ad an album with images I add the images one by one and set them as thumbnail. This works 100% correct.
    When you click now on the marker a pop-up will open with the thumbnails, When you click on the thumbnail the images will open in Original size. But is it possible that the image open in a new window (now it opens in the same window) or beter as a lightbox

    regarding images in popups: you can add all kind of html code there, if you want to open an image/link in a new window for example, just add target=”_blank” to the code…

    I saw that is a standard function of WP. Sad it works not as lightbox.

    well, there are some lightbox plugins out there which work by adding class=”lightbox” to an image and then registering if such an image is clicked. Not sure (havent tested it yet), but that could perhaps also work with my plugin…

    After all I decided to take the lite version from 15 euro.
    But it gave some problems.
    I fill in all things, but the I get the message that my password allready is used. I ask to send me the password to this email and I never get it.

    Finaly I could order a licence for 15 euro/1 year
    I update the version to pro
    I add the licence code MapsMarkerPro-a9b04ee*****
    And it say that I can use it till 13/09/2014
    Toegang tot plugin updates en de ondersteuning is geldig tot: 13/09/2014 (31 dagen te gaan)

    your license key does not expire, that means you can use the version you have without any time limitation. If your access to updates and support expires, you just will not be able to retrieve new updates unless you renew your access. For more infos see mapsmarker.com/pricing

    update and support till 13/09/2014

    no, you can use your current version (1.8.1) without time limitation – if I release an update til 13/9/2014 you can also update to that new release. If an update is released afterwards you have to renew your access to updates and support for 1 year at 50% of initial package price before you can install the update on your site.

    I read on the pricing page that I have

    support for 1 domain,
    but it also say that I
    do not have access to updates and support for 1 year

    What is the differents between support for 1 domain and that I do not have support for one year.

    Can I get support for ever or not=

    access to updates AND support are bundled, unlimited support access is not available. if you buy a single line license, your package only includes access to updates and support for 1 month, a regular license includes 1 year. For both packages access to updates and support can be renewed for 1 year after it has expired.
