Seems to be the chat window javascript that causes the Add Media to fail. Tested with a few browsers including an older IE that prevents javascript from loading… in that case the Add Media works.
FireFox, Chrome (latest versions) – when ConverseJS is activated, the Add Media stops working. Deactivate it, and it works again.
Confirmed it is working.
Was it intentional to remove the setting to have the chat window in both admin and front end?
Right now the chat window is only appearing on the front end.
Yes for now it’s not possible to work in admin panel for javascript errors in vary wp-admin section
